Work today was much more manageable, likely because of the very steady snowfall throughout the day. It would have been infinitely more magical if we didn't all have to worry about getting home, that's for sure! And Vancouver is so ill-equipped to handle snowfall that everyone's anxiety tends to go through the roof at the first sign of a snowflake. Hopefully we'll just have one day of "winter wonderland" and move on from there!

In keeping with the winter theme, here is my favourite figure skating (well, ice dance if we're being specific) program of this 2018/2019 season. Yes, part of it is that I am always going to root for the Canadian team, but the first time I saw this program, I was genuinely verklempt. Whatever the circumstances, I am happy for them that they managed a bronze medal!
