I've used these last two days to really just rest so I can hit the ground running at work tomorrow. Bought groceries that ended up costing more than I anticipated, so there's that! I'll definitely have to limit my spending in the next little while! Because I don't get direct-deposits from work and I'm not the best at getting to a bank (first-world problem if there ever was one), my savings account is a little leaner than I'm used to. And by "leaner" I still mean "very comfortable", but I'm always the type to prepare for the worst, so!
Went to feed Bu-bu today, and it was less frustrating than last week in some ways. Still disheartening because she had maybe five mouthfuls of bird's nest soup over 1.5 hours. But she did swallow most of it, and she mostly seemed just tired rather than resentful. I know I'm usually the least-successful at getting her to eat, so hopefully she'll do better the rest of the week.
