(no subject)

Attended the clinic baby shower for a former co-worker today, and was very lucky that the timing worked out with my current job! Always lovely to see those familiar faces and get a bit of an update on their lives. I was there for nearly four years, after all! Absolutely did not miss the 40+ minutes of driving though. It's difficult to imagine that I used to do that commute for work, twice a day! It's a pretty average commute for most Vancouverites, but I'm much happier with the five minutes it takes for me to get to work now.
